Welcome to the Pacific Highway Kempsey to Eungai upgrade website.

The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is investigating an upgrade of the Pacific Highway between Kempsey and Eungai. Planning for this project is fully funded by the NSW Government.

The project would extend approximately 40 km from the existing dual carriageway south of Kempsey to the existing dual carriageway at Eungai Rail.

Final approval has been granted for the Kempsey to Eungai upgrade. The Chief Executive of the RTA determined on 24 July 2008 that the upgrade could proceed subject to the conditions set out in the conditions of approval by the Minister for Planning.
